Every meeting report, town page, and weekly digest now has share buttons for X, Facebook, Bluesky, and email, plus a copy-link button. On a phone you can also share straight to any app you have installed. Help your neighbors see what happened at the meeting.

You can now connect the AI assistant you already use to your MeetingWatch account and ask it about local meetings, decisions, and upcoming agendas — right from that assistant, with answers linked back to the report they came from. Free for signed-in accounts; see the new Connect page for setup steps and manage the connection anytime from your account page.

Clicking a timestamp in a meeting report now opens the video in a pop-up player on the same page, already positioned at that moment — no more jumping to another site and scrubbing to find the spot. It works for most towns' video platforms, and you can still open the recording on the town's own video site with one click.

Signed-in members can now ask questions right on a meeting, board, town, or issue page — "What did the board decide about the budget?" — and get a plain-language answer drawn only from that page's coverage, with links to the sources: the meeting report, the official agenda or minutes, and where possible the exact moment in the meeting video. You choose how wide the answer looks (just this meeting, the whole board, or the whole town), and every answer says which it used.

Signing up is clearer now. A quick welcome walks you through picking your area and creating a free account (or just getting the weekly email if you'd rather skip the account). And when you choose which communities to follow, they're sorted by distance from your area — your town first — so the ones nearest you are easy to find.

If you've created an account, your account page now shows your contribution history and any recurring gifts — and lets you update your payment details or change or cancel a recurring contribution anytime.

Acting on feedback from a board member, we improved report accuracy: video links now jump to the right moment in the meeting, members who recused themselves from a vote are shown as recused (not counted as voting), and our read of a meeting's tone and public participation now stays closer to what actually happened. As always, reports are AI-generated — verify against the meeting itself.

Each community's page now opens with a recap of the latest week and organizes everything into clear sections — Worth Watching, Issues & Events, Boards, Meetings, and Weekly Digests — so you can find what you care about faster.

Warrant articles now pull their full discussion, vote results, and linked documents into a single report, so you can follow an article from debate to decision in one place.

Reports can now include a key image from the meeting itself, giving you a sense of the room and the moment at a glance.

Topics and high-impact issues now have an optional “more background” you can expand for what was discussed, what was decided, and what happens next.

When a board splits on a vote, reports no longer imply everyone agreed. Where an individual member's position isn't clear, it's marked as unclear instead of guessed.
