While the vote was unanimous, these substantial deviations from scheduled timelines matter. They impact neighbors and applicants who rely on the Commission's published agenda to participate in the process. #SudburyMA #LocalGov https://meetingwatch.org/ma/sudbury/conservation-commission/2026-03-09/

Longer-form draft.
At the March 9 Sudbury Conservation Commission meeting, a significant discrepancy between the public agenda and the actual decisions made was observed regarding the 87 Moore Road application.

The published agenda indicated that the application for garage construction, driveway, and tree removal would be continued to April 6, 2026. However, the Commission voted to move the date all the way to August 6, 2026.

This four-month delay represents a significant departure from the timeline residents were given notice of. When the Commission makes substantive changes to the schedule that differ from the posted agenda, it affects the ability of neighbors and stakeholders to prepare for and attend hearings.

In addition to this delay, the Commission also approved the Order of Conditions for the redevelopment at 89 Stone Road, mandating a 90% native plant ratio for restoration areas to ensure environmental compliance. https://meetingwatch.org/ma/sudbury/conservation-commission/2026-03-09/ #MeetingWatch #SudburyMA
