On June 16 the Cambridge School Committee received public comment urging living wages for paraprofessionals, ESPs, clerks and substitutes, plus faster contract negotiations. Speakers also raised the Welcoming Community Ordinance and facilities planning at 158 Spring Street. The board took no action on wages or contracts during the meeting.

On the 158 Spring Street relocation, a member pressed for an August or early September decision to give families notice before the October lottery. The Superintendent said a recommendation would come by end of September due to capital and fairness limits. No vote was taken.
